Kleb and AC came into town yesterday to go shopping at American Apparel. I didn't want to go too far from my house, since it was the Sugar Bowl and life would inevitably be ridiculous anyway, but then they said they wanted to go to Lakeside.

I figured that venturing a block or two would be cool.

They came and snatched me up, after getting lost several times, and we headed to the mall. Met up with Darren, saw Kaleb Babb, and we attempted to go bother Josh Smith and work, but he was gone. :( AC hung out in the make-up stores, and the three of us stood around and rambled.

Then we headed over to Semolina for dinner. Shrimp roban om nom nom.

I've kind of been tearing through the books and plays that I got for Christmas. A package arrived a few days after Christmas, bearing the rest of my presents, which include the following:

- I Love You Phillip Morris by Steve McVicker
- Beautiful Child by Nicky Silver
- Me Talk Pretty One Day by David Sedaris
- August: Osage County by Tracy Letts
- Wit by Margaret Edson
- A David Mamet anthology, including Oleanna, The Cryptogram, and The Old Neighborhood
- Night: Journey of Dreams for the Wii
- Kilometer 0, that movie that tigerlily34 and I used to rent all the time from the foreign language section at Blockbuster here
- The Collected Plays of Edward Albee (1928-2003), which includes Lolita, The Man Who Had Three Arms, Finding the Sun, Marriage Play, Three Tall Women, Fragments (A Sit-Around), The Play About the Baby, The Goat or, Who is Sylvia? (one of my favorite plays of all time), Occupant, and Knock! Knock! Who's There?
- Death and Taxes: Hydriotaphia and Other Plays by Tony Kushner, which includes Hydriotaphia, Reverse Transcription, and Terminating

I've finished the first two, and I'm mostly through Me Talk Pretty One Day, but I've got a long way to go, tee hee.
